Here is a little about me...
I have always been a work horse! I love to work, I love to
meet new people...and I love to contribute financially (my husband
appreciates this too!).
When my son was born in 2006, I was so happy to "take a break" from the
7AM - 7PM hotel sales position I had tenured. While I
absolutely adore my son and cherish every single moment that I have to
see his precious face, I realized that I was completely cutting out a
part of my life that had come to define me. I was certain
that I needed to work, but I was certain that I couldn't leave our
darling child.
So then was born the idea of working from home. I tried to
think about what I was great at...and what part of my old job that I
really loved. Then, there it was...I was great at being
organized and efficient. At my old job, I often teased that I
should step down from my high level management position to become an
administrative assistant.
I started my Virtual Assistant business, Virtually Achieved, in
2007...but it wasn't until January of 2008 that I really began driving
this company to success. Real Estate Support, Internet
Marketing, Affiliate Management, Advertising Campaigns, and Website
Development have become my passion. I started with 5 active
clients ... and my ACTIVE client list now exceeds 250! I now
have the honor of employing amazing women from all around the world who
have the same passion and desire to be amazing moms...and successful
business owners....AND I have the pleasure of being at home to educate,
mentor, and snuggle my growing son. I am very excited to see
what this year brings!
As many women do, I was able to take this strong desire for developing
something that fulfills both my spirit and my need for
accomplishment...and turn it into something that makes a financial
difference to our family.
I can't believe people are still putting on pantyhose in the
morning. There are days that juggling my clients and the
dirty diapers takes their toll...but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
So that's my story...
